Turquoise & Red Jasper Raw Ring

A few times a year I hike into the Uintas and collect stunning Red Jasper samples to use in my custom jewelry. One of my favorite combonations of color is the crisp Red Jasper and vibrant Turquoise Ring!  The natural cracks left behind after the sanding and polishing process are the signature detail in this ring. It adds texture to the surface of the ring that I find satisfying and pleasant. I take pride in the fact that this style is completely unique and only made by Alex's Backwood Studio.
 
One of the things that makes this ring so unique is the Tungsten Carbide ring core.  This material is a Ceramic Metal, it's harder than traditional steel which gives it an extremely scratch resistant polish, it’s also hypoallergenic and noticeably heavier than Stainless Steel rings. I describe it as a tactile "heavy" feeling in your hand.
